Want a private guide to show you the local sites?  Don't want to waste time searching for the sites or want to do the safest entry and exit? It's always a good idea to go with someone familiar to a dive site you haven't been to before.

Hire an experienced and professional diver (all divemasters and instructors) to show you the springs, lakes, caverns, caves, reefs, and wrecks of Florida. Basic divers to technical and cave dives, and all skillMike carrying his gear from Bufford Spring. Dayo Scuba Orlando levels in between.

From Orlando, full and half day trips can be made to most sites. Two and Three day weekend trips are available. We dive 7 days a week and most holidays.

We can include gear for our dives, so bring your own or not.  We have recreational and technical dive gear available. We always take cameras (unless inappropriate).  We car pool when practical.

Cost for guided dives start at $99 for a local spring or lake.   Dive site fees are not included in the guide fees.  To book a dive guide, get a quote or check availability, you can call us (800-525-3296), email us at scuba@dayo.com.

Since we are asked this all the time... No Nude and Naked Scuba Diving... It is prohibited at the state parks we frequent, however what you do at some of our remote and off shore dive sites is your business.

We really do have an adventure every time we dive. Check us out and see!  Below is a summary of just some of the dive locations we use.

Springs:

Springs are great places to dive. The following are known for their open water diving, not cave. They are 72 degrees year round. The closest spring to Orlando is Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, Florida. That's about a 35 minute drive (not during rush hour) from downtown. The next best (and closest) springs are privately owned ones around Ocala, Blue Grotto, Devil's Den, Paradise Springs, and 40 Fathom Grotto. It's about a 2 hours drive to the Ocala Springs. There are many springs in North Florida and those are about 2.5 to 3 hours away. They include (but not limited to) Ginnie Springs, Peacock Springs, Manatee Springs, Royal Spring, and Troy. In the winter, when the manatees come in closer to the springs, we include Kings Bay at Crystal River to our list of available dive sites. We even have a few secret sites for special dives.

Oceans:

Lantana and West Palm Beach is where we go to do our day trips for ocean diving. If we go for more than a day, our destination can also include the Keys. The dives in Lantana and West Palm Beach are drift dives. The boat drops you in the water, then follows your float as the current carries you over reefs and/or wrecks. It's there waiting to pick you up when you surface. Can't get much easier than that! The Keys have mostly anchored dives, but if the current is present and running strong, most boats are prepared to do drift dives.
